    I'm surprised no other teams tried signing him. I was wondering if he was going to get signed by some one this year. I think he can become a great pitcher again if he can regain his command. Should help out the Royals nicely. They won yesterday!

            Lima hasn't done anything good since he left Houston ..

                  On the contrary, he WON 20 games for them.. of course he also lost 10 that year.

                        Well, I know he had at least one good year with them, prolly a couple... but I remember him going almost winless at the All-Star break one year.... ever since, people have been reluctant to use him.

                              If you noticed his ERA stayed under 4 while in the Astrodome. The first year the Astros were in MMP (2000) his ERA shot up dramatically. Lima is a fly ball pitcher and MMP is a ballpark best suited for a groundball pitcher.
