If Blue Shift can put little things like swaying tree branches, moving clouds, and animated crowds in their baseball game why can't they add real-time scoreboards? I would rather have a working jumbo tron and scores that update than palm trees blowing in the wind, or crowds that thin out in blowouts instead of a bird flying across the screen. Plus, real time lighting effects would be better. That is my opinion.

I agree, I think realtime scoreboards would be pretty cool. But not to many people bring them up in reviews and such, so I think we are in the minority on this one.
ASB did a pretty sweet job with scoreboards and stadium advertisements (Citgo at Fenway, Kodak in the Bronx etc), but I still prefer the gameplay of WSB.Comment

Eh, I know that when you are actually PLAYING baseball, you really don't pay much attention to the out of town scores and such... (if that's what you're referring to), actually I really don't pay attention to OUR score either, I just play... you DO happen to notice that it's windy, or fans in the bleachers and such...
I think there is a fine line in video sports games in between what the player pay attention to and the fans pay attention to. And most games seem to want it all.
IMO WSB2K3 is great as is... but then again, I'm old-school and have played Coleco-vision baseball and Baseball Simulator, and in comparison this game has everything.Comment

What I like about WSB 2k3 is if you throw 2 curveballs up and in, then you throw a changeup really high and in, the batter will think it's a curveball and swing at it.
Anyways, I'd really like to see two things. One, there should be rumored trades or signings, such as "Dodgers have talked to the Red Sox about a trade involving Todd Walker and Paul Quantrill." Another thing I'd like would be a quick Sports Center review of the night's games. It would show recaps of games as well as various high lights such as home runs or game winning plays.Comment
