    WSB: Variable pitching / Walks

Has anyone been able to get a realistic amount of balls and walks in this game? (~40% balls, 3-4 walks per game)

Increasing variable pitching does not seem to increase balls and walks b/c it seems to make the CPU more wild into the strike zone not away from it. ( IE - it aims for a ball but leaves it over the plate)

Throw strikes at 1 is the best setting for getting the most balls, right?

Just hoping to spur some discussion on this subject.

i am giving up a good number of walks by doing this:

    1) i have all pitching aids 'on'
    2) ALL pitches i throw must be to the edge of the strike zone or further outside the strike zone. i can tell when i am at the edge of the k-zone because of the vibration.

i have been giving up 3-5 walks per game by doing this.

also my BE(b) slider is at about 70-80, i keep moving the other sliders around quite a bit.

i like this method but it does take a bit getting used to because at times you feel helpless especially on 3-0 and 3-1 counts.

Good input Plez. I'll give it a try.

Anyone else have any thoughts on variable pitching?
