Acevedo had a good year last year, he just can't pitch under the pressure of NY. I be the does really good with teh Jays.

acevado can be pretty good.. i was hoping the cardinals would pick him up.. he had a few good years here 3-4-5 years or so ago.

Acevado will NOT be a 5th Starter for the Jays. The report on tv says that the Jays will be working on fixing his release point so i'm thinking he'll be in middle relief for them. The Jays also picked up Scott Servce (sp) from Pittsburgh.

he saved like 20 something games for the Tiggers last season...Plus we have a preety solid pitching coach in Gil Patterson...He should be able to fix whatever ails Juan...

i was going to say he shouldn't be out of a job for to long after last year. i know he's had some good years. probably didn't do well because of NY and all the hype surrounding the Yankee's.
