      Re: Offical CUBS Thread

I guess I will ask this here as it's a thread with (presumably) Cubs fans. Anyone notice that Sosa didn't look as bulky as he normally does? He looked a lot thinner to me last night then he usually does or it could just be my eyes and mind playing tricks. Anyone else notice this?

                  Re: Offical CUBS Thread

SO far this season is great. The CUBS in 1st (but didn't that happen last year for a bit? year before?) and my CUBS franchise on ASB in first.
Let's hope the Reds don't get any pitching, and that the CARDS die a horrible death.
While i hate to see Florida sell its team off, i like them alot, LOWELL would be an incredible addition to our lineup. Bellhorn isn't getting it done, or dusty would be playing him. R.E. Martinez isn't going to cut it either.
Sosa, ALou and Patterson are a great core, but their support is too inconsistent. AGonzalez, Karros, Choi(AWESOME!!), Grudz, Miller...you never know if these guys will go 3-4 or 0-5. Can't have that. That is why Lowell would be awesome. He is one of my 2 fave 3b's.
How about BOROWSKI? been very good this year. DId anyone see him against the REDS on ESPN a few days ago? K'd Larkin like a dog.
                  Australian Rules Football...just sayin'
