Best baseball/softball team you got to be part of

I've been playing softball now for about 12 years. In those 12 years, the first 3 were on a team that was always Top 3 in the league, and I platooned. The next 3 I played in another league where, again, I platooned and we won 2 championships and a 2nd place finish, I played for another team for 4 years that normally placed in the Top 3 in the league, I started, but when it came time to put in the coach's son-in-law, I was normally the guy to get pulled, even though I was the best defensive outfielder and Top 5 in hitting on the team, I quit them to play for another team it was there first year in the league, we started out 1-13, but finished up like 12-20, all teams make the playoffs, and we made it one game from the championship, I had the game winning 2-run homer to win the first game of that playoffs, and 2nd game I show up to find out i'm benched for the coach's kid's t-ball coach, who only made it to 2 games all year, and in those games never had a hit... I boycotted the next game, told them I had to work over, they lost and got ousted to the loser's bracket, and I got a call from the assistant coach telling me he knows why I missed the game and i'm starting and playing the whole next game... I show up, we win, I hit a pair of homers, and had the game-saving catch in the leftfield... next game we lost, and the season was over..

This year I moved and am now playing in a whole new league in a whole new town, and the team I got onto is by FAR the best team I've ever seen, let alone played on.. Yes, once again, I gotta platoon, but I'd rather platoon for quality players, than platoon out of favoritism. Currently we are 11-0, and have beat the two teams tied for 2nd both times we played them... our average score is like 30-9... on a Tues/Thursday set of games, we outscored our opponents 71-9 (34-4, 37-5) I got to start like 4 games so for, and have been in every game except for the two before they brought me aboard, on my second game, I started, and went 5-6 with 3 doubles, 2 singles, 4 RBI's and 5 runs scored... got my name in the paper...

I'm really badly wanting to take this team back to my old town to compete in their little piddly tournaments... just to make a statement...lol

What's the best team any of you have ever been able to be part of? Sorry guys, kinda bored today and we got a double-header tonight. I'm even wearing my softball jersey to work today...

From the age 10-15, I was on a top ten team in the nation on the AAU level. Started at second base every game I can remember, except when we played scrubbish teams, and the starters got a break.

Never really played on a team that was all that amazing. My last 2 years of Little League we finished 2nd both years. My first year of Babe Ruth, I guess we finished 1st, but we didn't have playoffs that year. Last year we finished 4th. This year for highschool we went 8-6, and for Babe Ruth we are in a double elimination tournament. We lost the 1st game, but have now won the last 3. We will still have to win 4 more games to win it all though.

So nothing that really stood out as that amazing.

I played for the Cincy metro champs in 2001. There where 316 teams in our division and we came out on top. I played for this team for about 10 years and we won quite a few leagues and tournys. We also got 4 in the world tourney in Florida in 2002. Last year i "retired" at the end of the year because of all the traveling I do with my new job.

I played on a team that had two straight undefeated seasons and undefeated playoffs. The least we ever won by was 4 runs. We won the championship two years in a row, and then we lost a few kids the next season and finished 5th in the tournament.
