    Your pupils dialate in the dark (meaning they get bigger) so you can see through the darkness. They contract in the sun to avoid direct sunlight.

    My pupil right now remains contracted as a result of the trama it sustained from the hit. It doesn't really do much to me b/c it's only one half of my site but I guess it does affect me in some sense that I don't realize.
