    Re: Remembering Darryl Kile

I had been a fan of Kiles from the time he pitched here in Houston until the day of his untimely death. We lost a great player and more importantly a great person last year.

All the Cardinals wore black sweatbands with DK 57 on them today. What a horrible feeling it was a year ago. I'm watching the pregame for the Cards and Cubs game wondering why the game hadn't started. Then of course, Girardi came out and gave a very tearful announcement that the game was called. I think I had Fox, KMOX, and ESPN on in different rooms trying to find out what happened. And then when they finally said who and what, I just couldn't believe it.

RIP DK, we all miss you

I was with the MAN! when he came up with the Astros.
It was really disappointing for him to leave.
I always thought one day he would be back with the Stros.
His legacy as a kind soul and devistating curveball will never be forgotten.....God bless his family.....never forget!
