I don't see how anybody playing above rookie level could say its easy. I find it to be quite challenging. And, if it gets too easy, you have tons of options to make it harder.

Yes the game does get quite easy at times. But you should read my thread about pitching and batting below. Ways to make the game harder.

It just goes down to the cpu's non-aggressivness. And one reason that the cpu struggles to get a hit some times is because its to easy to pitch. If your pitcher get ahead of the count 0-2, the chances of the batter getting a hit are greatly reduced. If you fall behind 3-0, 2-0, 3-1, then his chances are increased and he may just get some good wood on it. And thats basically the problem. Most ppl find it hard to throw balls, thus giving the cpu less chances of getting a hit.

Most every baseball game I have ever gotten I have had around a .800 winnning percentage even when playing on the hardest difficulties. There was always no competition, and I often stopped playing before the season was over because it got boring. I would be 30 games ahead with a 50-8 record or something insane like that.

With ASB, I am the furthest I have ever gone in a baseball game. After making a lot of transactions to become a top team in the league, I am currently 66-38 with the Red Sox. The Yankees are only 3 games behind me, so it has been very exciting. This is the first game I have ever had a realistic record in.

So no, ASB is not too easy.
