Re: ASB - Scoring from second...
It is possible, just not easy. You need a good runner and a deep ball. Not quite as simple as it seems in real life because I'm guessing the runner doesn't take much of a secondary lead. -

Re: ASB - Scoring from second...
It's possibly, it is just very tough. Most of the times I pull it off is when I have a hit and run on. Supposedly you're able to press a certain button to increase the lead, but half of the time it won't let you or will make you stop because you're too far out. I say let us take as big of leads as we want, and if we get thrown out it is our problem, but let us control it.

Re: ASB - Scoring from second...
It all depends on how you 3rd base coach. I send my runners around often. About 50% of the time I'll send him back. But yea it is a problem with the baserunning from third. In order for your runner to advance without him pausing, you would have to use the button that sends all runners around, and not the one where he runs by himself.
But has anyone ever noticed that the cpu outfielders get and throw the ball quicker than your players?http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: ASB - Scoring from second...
The times I do score from 2nd on a single are when I hit blooper to CF. By the time the centerfielder gets to the ball my baserunner has already rounded 3rd. So then the centerfielder simply just throws it into 2nd base so I don't advance to 2nd on the throw home.Comment

Same here. I score from second more often now that I've switched to Zone hitting. I get quite a few grounders/ "seeing-eye" singles up the middle. Scoring from 2nd also depends on how deep the outfielder is playing and his arm strength and arm accuracy. Most of the time, I round third and have to go back though. Its very hard to do it on a regular basis but its possible.Comment
