with all this competition in console baseball, i feel that the true benfactors will be us, the gamers. the improvements will be more dramatic, i feel, than the hotly contested football wars. with at least 4 legitmate contenders the possiblities for inovation are endless.
i personally feel that while mvp will be improved and a very good game, and mlb will step considerably, the true competition will be between WSB and ASB.
yes some will say "MVP is just in its first year". well so is WSB for the ps2. and ASB is just 3 years old.
and both are so far ahead in so many areas of gameplay.
mlb in the short time i played it had a core of improvements that feel right. long term play started to manifest the bad in the game but nothing a year of work couldnt fix. it is still 2 years away imho.
