Re: Who is everyone voting for?

The all-star game is a joke because it only considers the first half of a season, when I'd rather see the players on my fave team have better second halves, specifically better Octobers... but I digress. I'm voting for Carlos Beltran and Bobby Abreau REPEATEDLY because they are awesome players who've been awesome for many years now and have never gone to the All-star game, or rather April/May/June game, because they always put up their numbers in the more meaningful second half.

I know that Drew hasn't played enough to be considered, but he playing unbelievable and, on top of that, I refuse to vote for anyone currently ahead of Pujols.

And yes, it's a little slanted to the Cardinals, but I'm a Cardinals fan and that's who I'd like to see. That, and the guys I mentioned are very much deserving to be at least in the running.

                            3B Scott Rolen
                            C Mike Matheney
                            OF Albert Pujols
                            Of Corey Patterson
                            OF J.D. Drew

This year it sounds more like people are voting according to stats... it's usually a time to vote for your favorite players, but so far I haven't heard many Bondses or Sosas, or even many Giambis.
