From time to time while playing the games out this year, I think of things I would like to see included, not in any particular game, but in all games. I will post those thoughts here.
New attribute, pitchers -- Wildness Tendancy.
This rating would assign to each pitcher a "Strike Zone" or "Outside Zone" tendancy, and would help to compute where the pitcher misses when he misses with a pitch.
For instance, in WSB, the user can set Variable Pitching to "low," "medium," or "high." However, the "high"setting results in many grooved pitches, by even the best pitchers. Most of the above average and intelligent pitchers, if they miss, will miss outside the zone, such that the WSB approach is not realistic for many pitchers. They still miss inside the zone once in a while, but not as often as lesser pitchers.
Such a rating would help with scouting opponents, free agents, and draft picks, and would help in batting, as the user would better be situated to approach every at bat.
