    Has anyone tried this yet?

Starting a fantasy draft franchise in WSB using all fictional players?

    That seems kinda interesting.

Re: Has anyone tried this yet?

I have, I have some complaints though:

    1) Every team was a hitting team, it wasn't about the pitchers.

    2) It's like everybody just started their career. I mean it's great, but it will take a while to scout people, break records, etc. That's why I cleared the records so it's like baseball just started.

    3) People have too many regular stances. Only one person on my team didn't have an open/close/medium/etc stance, and he had Jacque Jones... ugh.

    4) They don't announce names.

    Otherwise... it's fun.

          Didn't think of all that...

          1) Every team was a hitting team, it wasn't about the pitchers.

I noticed that, I ran an auto-draft, and simmed a season... I had a rotation with SP's, two were rated in the mid-90's, 2 in the late 80's and one in the late 70's... I saw my team losing a TON of games regardless.

          2) It's like everybody just started their career. I mean it's great, but it will take a while to scout people, break records, etc. That's why I cleared the records so it's like baseball just started.

I hear ya, on one hand, that'll be cool, on the other that'll be kinda bad, because you may NEVER see any career records broken, and you'll be getting season records set every year.

          3) People have too many regular stances. Only one person on my team didn't have an open/close/medium/etc stance, and he had Jacque Jones... ugh.

Yeah, I'd imagine, they are all pretty bland "edited" players, and funny you mention JJ, I played against the Dodgers last night in my drafted franchise, Jaqcque played for them, he might as well have a bee in his pants

          4) They don't announce names.

          Ugh! Nuff said

So will you continue it? Because it IS quite fun, but it's just funny to see some of the names that you get. I had a LF named Ben Dover, and the Phillies had a Pat McCrotch. I'm like WHA!?¡¿
