    Whew, Griffey on fire?

Have you seen Griffey lately, it is like it is the old him from Seattle and the old him the first year he was here in cincinnati.
Tonight he was 2-4 with another HR, a few days ago he got a homerun along with the one he got in the 13th inning game long with 1 or 2 others and has been batting like 3.97 since coming back! Is he really back to being the old Griffey or is this just temporary? Well vote below, I hope old griffey cause he is my main man.

I hope Griffey is back that would be pretty cool to see him back like in his "prime" but he has been hitting good but I always think that he is going to pull another hammy running around. But that is IMO.

We will know a lot more next year. If this guy is motivated, then he can be the "old" Griffey. If he sees guys like Bonds and Sosa smashing records, and realizes that he has that ability as well (definitely does), then hopefully he will play his butt off. Then again, you never know with Junior.

Don't I feel stupid. I traded him for Roger Cedeno the first time he went on the DL this year in my Fantasy League.

Usually he's good, gets you about 45 SB, with a .290 avg, but this year he's TERRIBLE.

                  Just like the Muts!

I've always followed Griffrey since he was in Seattle. I think he's still under pressure from the media to succeed. I don't think the media has really stop bothering him. Everyone knows he is bothered by injuries. I think he needs to take it easy the rest of the year and workout in the offseason and come back better then ever.
