    The Braves Need Pitching

Never thought I'd say this, but this team needs more pitching. Russ Ortiz is the only consistent pitcher on the staff right now. Ramirez, Hampton, Maddux, and Reynolds are way too inconsistent. One night they are great, the next night they suck. Oh, that reminds me. When is Paul Bryd actually going to pitch for the Braves? Will it actually be this season?

          Ramirez inconsistent?!

The rookie has won 7 games and has a 3.75 ERA, _much_ better than the numbers put up by Maddux, Hampton and Reynolds.

IMO, he has been a great addition and should be the ace of the staff in years to come, if he doesn't get traded. This kid has talent. Hopefully Atlanta won't trade him like they did Damian Moss.

Byrd just had Tommy Jon surgery.

The Braves just need their pitchers to pitch we don't need new guys.

Ramirez and Ortiz are the only guys that are carrying their load. If Maddux ever rebounds, this team will be okay...but let's face it, I think Maddux has just about lost it.
