    I don't think lowering contact ratings would matter.

    Contact Ratings in EA games seem to affect what kind of hit you get. It shouldn't be that way.

    Contact should be about putting the bat on the ball. YOu can lower contact to zero (as it seems) and you'll still hit the ball. The only difference is you won't get solid contact.

    EA needs to adjust this to affect contact with the ball. Lower ratings should mean more whiffs. I should swing hard at a pitch with Sammy and miss it sometimes. Just because. Of course, I should also have a good chance to slug it out of the park b/c of his power.

            Maybe it does, but it doesn't seem that way.

            That's basically my point. If it does have to do with making contact (bat on ball) then EA needs to rebuild this piece of the engine. Not tune it or refine it. Rebuild it.
