ASB : Zone batting

Could someone please explain exactly how this works? The manual doesn't go into detail about the different types of hitting options.

i dont really kno either but since i have staarted using it i noticed that wen the ball is in ur hot zones u hit it deeper and also im not sure but using ur directional buttons towards the zone the ball is in helps in most games. but i havnt seen a significant difference whether i do or dont

Kind of like hitting in High Heat. If a ball comes inside, move the stick inside then swing. If it's high and outside, move the stick high and outside then swing.
