Yanks make Cowherd eat Crow

If anyone listened to his show Thursday morning, he went on and on about how the Phillies body language was so loose, and how they were having fun during game 1. blah, blah.. He all but assumed that the Phillies would either sweep the Yankees or win in 5.

However, now that he is dead wrong, as usual, I look forward to his show tomorrow morning, as he back tracks in his usual fashion because when it comes to baseball, he has NO IDEA what he is talking about.

How he still has a job is a miracle. I listen to him just so I can laugh.

Now, is it possible that the Phillies could come back? I guess so. Cliff Lee could easily win game 5, but I wouldn't trust Pedro or Cole Hammels to win game 6 and 7 on the road in Yankee Stadium.

I see I am not alone. LOL.. I love when he gets callers who say, "they love the show."

I think he pays people to call and say they like the show, or he has the workers at ESPN call in.

Last week was great, one guy called in to disagree with him and he hung up and made fun of him for a minute.

I hate Cowherd more than anyone else in sports. That includes players, coaches, general managers, mascots, cheerleaders, broadcasters, analysts and anything else you can name. If by some chance I ever run into the man, a fist is going to meet his jaw. He is dumbing down society.

I totally agree with you. He knows very little about sports, but you would never think it the way he talks.

He's trying to be funny to compensate for his lack of knowledge. He is turning into the "shock" jock d-jays he always makes fun of.

I really don't take his opinions seriously, they're just entertaining in their insanity.

Also, Sportsnation has Michelle Beadle, and she is awesome, so it kind of evens out.

He's doing exactly what ESPN wants him to do. Don't blame him, blame ESPN. I wouldn't be surprised if they fed him that crap to say, he's like Skip Bayless who always seems to be make these bold *** predictions that typically go wrong. They want you to hate him.

If you're watching it for news, you're watching it for the wrong reason.

I actually like it. It's a fun, entertaining show. But if you turn it on looking for straight news, you're going to hate it.

I understand in your case and that's probably fine, but the best thing to do is not watch the idiot. Him or Bayless. I can't tell you how many people watch their shows regularly then complain how dumb they are and how their arguments don't make sense.

I watched the Sportsnation show once or twice. I usually listen to him on the radio for 10 minutes while I am driving to work.

I know most people think he is a joke, but I don't think he sees it that way. I get the feeling he thinks he is a big deal. How can he think that when he knows practically nothing about sports?

ESPN radio is supposed to be about sports. Not for guys who think they know sports. He talks about stupid stuff half the time. Not to be mean, but I don't care about his life or his kids. I want to hear sports talk.
