Guys take away April and Benitez has been best closer in the game. Second, Seo has gotten absolutely killed his past 2 starts.

HUH? Are you forgetting about Smoltz and Gagne? Sorry, but I have seen alot of Mets games and he has been shaky all year, not just April.

It's obviously Smoltz who is the best. However, Benitez has been good since April, but if we're going to gauge all stars based on performance after April, then Ponson should be on the AL team instead of Mulder.

There is ALOT more to being a good closer than just the ERA. The guy comes in and usually puts himself in a worse position than when he came in, then has to work from behind in order to get the save. He never seems to come in and get a 3 up 3 down. Sorry, but he is not deserving of an All Star selection.
