WRONG. Actually you couldn't be further from the truth and I would hope you'd get your facts straight before coming on here and posting a remark such as that. Geez, when is the racist junk going to stop...

As reported by ESPN this morning: They spoke with a representative of the American Military who said that blacks in the military die from more "warm weather, heat related" incidents than whites, hispanics etc... THIS IS factual.

Well, if the American Military is reporting it-- it must be FACTUAL

From the tone of the interview it sounded like Dusty was joking around-- I don't think it's racist what he was saying, though I do think if he were white saying this there'd be a much larger uproar, but that has to do with the FACTUAL!! racist history of our country towards blacks and the still lingering and rightly so concerns there-in.

This isn't Al Campanis making the blanket statement that blacks can't manage in the big-leagues, this was a poorly drawn, and frankly low-key, generalization about the small physical differences between the races. Big difference. You guys are digging pretty hard to make this worse than it actually is IMO.

This is coming from researched data so it holds true.

Not to mention that our military never lied to anyone. The President might have, but the military DID NOT. The military did nothing wrong. They just carried out orders like they were supposed to. Nothing untruthful about that.

Sadly, many blacks can say things like this and it's nothing. God forbid it was Joe Torre or Tony Larussa. Jesse Jackson would be stomping around asking for their heads..

I would like to see what Jesse Jackson has to say about this. If Dusty is correct then how come young black players aren't coming to baseball anymore? If a white guy said this he would be (John) Rocker'd out of baseball.
