Who's better Manny or Ja. Giambi?

My friend and I had a terrible time trying to convince each other who is the better hitter. I think Manny Ramirez is because he never has bad years. It seems like the only thing that stops him is injuries. He hits for a really high average, hits a lot hr's, and is an rbi machine ( 165 rbi in 145 games in 99). Giambi is awesome too but he was better with the A's. I can't believe he's hitting only .260's. He has good power numbers but I just think Ramirez is better. Who do you think is better?

Giambi has brilliant plate discipline. But he's a yankee and that's enough for me to say that Manny is better.
