I'm surprised how D-Backs are doing

I'm not a baseball expert but when you lose your two best starting pitchers, your closer, and other key guys like counsel at 2nd, womack at SS not that many teams would be fighting for tops of their division.

And during this tough time, the Baby-Backs trade their best pitcher at the time BHK, for a questionable guy in Hellenbrand. We even had Hellenbrand out not too while ago with an injury. (Batted great today, 5-5 3 HR, 7RBIs and BHK had a horrible 9th with a loss against the yankees, little ironic yeah?)

With all those key guys gone, it was like watching a minor league game. But Bremeley proved again that he is a great manager and that Arizona did a great job scouting by bringing up guys like Webb, Papa Grande, Kata. Cintron defintly stepped up as well as Overbay and Bautista at the mound, the bench is so deep now.

Now the big boys are coming back, Schilling will be back for a pivatle series with the Giants by as early as this weekend. Randy Johnson is also doing well with his first rehab assinment in Triple-A in Tucson throwing 4 perfect innings today.

I'm jus proud of the guys with surviving major adversity this season. Thought i share. The sad thing to see is some guys might be sent back to the minors that have a great job filling in.
