    Look at the lineup:

    Wilson, 2B
    Zeile, 3B
    Giambi, 1B
    Posada, DH
    Matsui, CF
    Sierra, RF
    Flaherty, C
    Garcia, LF
    a-Jeter, PH
    Almonte, SS

This is not the normal Yankee lineup. Jeter and Soriano and Mondesi are all weren't playing, and of course Bernie and Johnson are on the DL.

i was very impressed with Traber. and about the limeup it may not be the normal limeup, but Giambi, Matsui and Posada are still in there and they can't even manage 1 hit?

Anyone who 1-hits the Yankees is on my good list.

And I'd like the Yankees fans to stop complaining that it wasn't "the real Yankees' lineup" If that's the lineup for the game, it's the real lineup. It's not like Jeter and Soriano were out golfing, they're hurt, and it's a part of baseball. Deal.

But u still have 2 supposed all stars and possibly a third in giambi. and ur telling me not one of those guys could get a hit off a rookie? i think not. sure it may have been different with soriano leading off but if this yankee team cant survive without one player then i wud say they r likely to encounter some trouble down the stretch.

Well pitched game by Traber, I give him props. Yankee's bats just diddint show up tonight against him, and he threw his best game of his career. No need to make excuses.
