I have to think that Albert gets at least 27 of 28 1st place votes. I don't know how you can even compare anyone to that man.

Re: MVP
That guy had a hell of a year for a reliever. He should have got some votes in my opinion. He was nasty coming out of the pen for the Giants.
Just look at his numbers. For a reliever to have an ERA under 2 is pretty damn sweet!

Re: MVP
Does anybody not like Albert Pujols? I mean seriously, he is so awesome yet it seems nobody ever says anything bad about him. He absolutely destroys my team (ok it's the Pirates, who doesn't destroy them) but he is my favorite player.
To keep this post on topic, unanimous sounds about right. I can't think of anybody I would vote for ahead of him.Comment

Re: MVP
Seriously though you are right you never hear anything negative about Pujols.
It was funny on MLB network last night Dan Plesac was talking about how the only time he faced Pujols he got him to pop up and Mitch Williams says "he never got a hit off of me. I retired in 97, i was smarter than rest of you"
The guy is a machine but if the Cardinals don't re-sign Matt Holliday or get another decent bat behind him at some point Pujols is going to start getting the Barry Bonds treatment and may only see one or two pitches to hit per game.Comment
