    Realistic stats in ASB

I'm currently 5-2 with the Oakland A's in my ASB franchise, and was seeking some great settings for realism.

My team ERA is like 1.31, which isn't very realistic. I'm also getting 8-10 K's a game with pitchers like Aaron Harang and Ted Lilly.

I use easy hitting and auto fielding, simply b/c I can't use a cursor well and my fielding is terrible. I'm also currently using veteran difficulty, should I move it up to all-star difficulty? Will this help me gain more realistic ERA's?

    All advice is appreciated

Through about 40 games on All-Star difficulty, I have the same problem as you. In 8 starts Kevin Millwood has an ERA below 1 and 3 of my other starters have ERA's below 2. Definitly not realistic.

The only fix is to set your pitcher to CPU control before you play each game.

What I did is lower my entire starting pitching staffs accuracy down to a D or a D-. Pitchers with an A or A+ accuracy, I put them at C or C-.
Try it, you'll start throwing some walks, some mistake pitches and your pich count will increase. And I realized that the cpu hits better when thier accuracy is lowered. Maybe because of the mistake pitches you'll throw.
But since I've tried this method, I've lost my last 6 out of ten games and my ERA is rising.
Now, I can give you some good normal mode batting tip in order to have a realistic game also. Just let me know if you're interested.

If he isn't, I am. I use zone Hitting at the moment b/c I get K'd way too much (15+ per game) using normal hitting.

I've also lowered my pitcher's accuracy ratings to D and D- a couple of weeks ago and now my ERA has risen almost 2 runs per game.

Just making sure: did you turn off the pitching cursor? Also, I don't aim my pitches until I've started the windup.

I don't understand some people's problem, because my best ERA is somewhere around 2.90 and my average is probably 3-4.
