    Updates on the HR Derby

AL HomeRun Sluggers are Giambi, Delgado,Boone, Garret Anderson,

NL Sluggers have 2: Pujols and Edmonds

2 Spots are open The League is waiting On answers from Lowell, Sexson, andruw jones, Javy Lopez and Gary Sheffield

Also Another candidate could be Luis Gon from the D-Backs since he won the crown back in seattle.

There is also talks right now even thought the AL team is full if someone cancels Ichiro Suzuki of the Mariners would get the nod to play since he wows his teammates and opponets durning his batting practice. Also Fellow Japanese countryman Hideki Matsui would be another intriguing possibility.

A-Rod said Earlier He would not show, So did Bonds and Sosa.

Personally I think 2 people from the NL will make it and I am seeing Richie Sexson as one and Lowell as another.

Ichiro? I love the guy but doesn't he only have 8 or 9 home runs this season?

Yea, Matsui has shown very little power too.

I hope Giambi can defend his title.

Yeah, but they have said countless times on BBTN that Ichiro could hit 30 home runs a year if he wanted to, but he hits for higher average as a line drive hitter. I think it would be interesting to see how Ichiro would do.

I still don't even consider 30 homers a year in this day and age home run derby material.
