right now is one of my favorite times when it comes to the MLB. The Stove is a blazin with so many trades and free agent signings that it makes your head spin in the midst of all this i decided to make predictions on who will win what
AL East New York Yankees
Pretty easy choice right here the Yankees are the best team in baseball. With rumors now they are heading after Prized out fielder Jason bay the Yankees would be able to pick up right where they left off. Plus with the Addition of a solid number 2 hitter curtis granderson and factor in the fact that the yankees only have another 500 million to spend its a stupid choice not to pick the yankees for this spot
AL West Seattle Mariners
With Lackey heading to boston, Figgins heading to Seattle and Not resigning Vlad the Angels are pretty much in the dumps right now. There is no major contender in this division. that was until the Mariners aquired on of the best lefties in the Game in Cliff lee. while the bottom half of the rotation is nothing to write home about your looking at a solid 35-40 wins from your number one and two guys. The mariners also have a strong lineup resigning Ken Griffey adding chone figgens and keeping the surprise of last year Russell branyan.
AL Central - Detriot Tigers - this was probably the hardest choice to make for me but the only thing the tigers dont have on the twins is a catcher. The tigers were faced with a few injury problems last year but i believe that Miguel Cabrera will emerge as the possible A.L MVP.
Wild Card
Boston Red sox - Best rotation in the american league on paper reason they don't win the Division is because of one player and that was there newly aquired pitcher John Lackey. Yes Lackey is one of the Domiant arms of the AL but after frequent elbow trouble plus the fact that when he pitches at Fenway batters are hitting .314 off of him equals one sub par season. Hell probably reach 15 wins but could rack up 11 losses as well. also the Sawx lineup is not as strong with out Jason Bay
