    ASB Longest Blast...

I had my farthest homer ever today on ASB. Playing with the Rangers at home, I hit a dinger with Raffy that cleared the hitters backdrop in centerfield and went into Vandergriff Plaza. It was simply a bomb. I had only hit the little building once and that was with Juando.

What other long blasts have you guys had in a game?

I hit a home run once with Sammy Sosa off the light tower over the left field upper deck at Safeco field. It was an absolute bomb.

Hehe, I do it all the time in batting practice. It was weird though, once my friend Barclay came over, and he never played the game before, so then I was just doing BP with Cooper Sellers (this was on ASB 2002, he is at least on that game, don't know about 2004), and then he was messing around with the cursor. The first pitch WAMMO! It is a crushed home run, and this ball did not bounce off of the lights, but it infact went OVER the lights and hit the light tower on the bend, and STAYED UP THERE ON THE TOWER. It was so cool. I'm like whoa!

Ever since then on ASB 2002 I've been aiming for specific stuff, so far I haven't reached most of them.

                Places to reach:

-The scoreboard in Qualcomm (the ball goes through it I later found out)
-The scoreboard in Anahein (Never hit that et, I've been about 3 rows away before)
-The 3rd deck down the lines in Oakland (haven't reached it, it's hard)
-Bic Mac Land in St Louis (I've done it, but it's hard. It's not far away or anything, but it's right down the line, and it's a small place to hit. I always hit RIGHT over it)
-The bleacher seats on the rooftops of Chicago (I haven't reached it, but I don't think it can hit them, I mean it goes right through the buildings)
-The... stadium in Tampa (basically over the bleachers in right)
-Out of Dodger Stadium (actually not that hard)
-The glove in Pac Bell (hit it once, it just bounces right off like it's a wall)
-The second deck in Florida (I'm actually trying to right now, I've hit it off of the booths right below it, but never got up there yet. I'll let you when I do)
-The little roof over the second deck in the Ballpark in Arlington in right field (done it)
-The upper deck in Cinergy (I think that I did it, but it went right through, so I don't know)
-Second deck in left field in Minnesota (not yet, gotten close)
-Out of Yankee Stadium (I almost did it once, you know in right center where there's that alleyway with the ambulance, I've hit it off of those logo thingies... probably will never do it)

Do you guys have any goals?

I have had Frank Thomas hit one over the upright scorboards and advertisements in Comiskey.

I have had Alfonso Soriano hit one into the GM Fountain at Comerica and hit one over monument park at Yankee Stadium

I have had Albert Pujols hit one out of Kauffman Stadium (in right field, none the less), and Adam Dunn hit one over the chain link fence in Center Field at Kauffman Stadium

In Kauffman Stadium with Mike Sweeney I cleared the flags in left field and had it bounce off of the sidewalk just beyond the flags then bounce out of the stadium.

Then with Carlos Beltran in Kauffman Stadium I hit the scoreboard in CF.
