    CAP's Salaries

Okay here is the deal. I created three players (Mark Teixeira, Ramon Nivar, and Laynce Nix) for the Texas Rangers. Now I created them in hopes of using these prospects to build up the Texas Rangers into a contender. Now when I start my franchise and go to Long-Term Contracts, I notice something that ruined my whole franchise. Mark Teixeira who is rated B- right now, is asking 47 points per year. Ramon Nivar, also a B-, wants 43 points per year, and Laynce Nix, a C+, wants 35 points per year.

The whole reason I started a franchise with the Rangers was so I could use these guys along with some other Ranger prospects to become a contender, but now I feel it is impossible because I don't even have the salary to sign three rookies. I even edited Ramon Nivar to all D- before I signed him, and he still wants 7 years, 39 points per year.

Does anyone know a way to get around this? I would really appreciate it.

If you can find a player in the minors the same age and position as nix and nivar you can edit them and there signed for like 5 or 6 years for pretty much nothing....If you dont have anyone the same age as those 2 trade for a player there age. But i dont think its gonna be easy finding someone the age of texiera.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet, but looks like I am going to be able to get everything worked out. Thanks a lot.

Okay, now I have found the perfect guy for Mark Teixeira, same position, same age, basically same everything. He is a D- guy, and it seems that no matter what I do the Blue Jays wont trade him. For each person I put in I get the "______ does not fit into the Blue Jays plans at the moment" message. I have even offered them C and C- players for him, but they wont let him go. Any tips on how I can acquire him?
