    Big Four!!!

Hudson, Mulder, Zito and now Rich Harden! Very impressive debut by Harden so far he has went 7 innings, given up one run off four hits. Hopefully A's can score some runs to get this kid a win!

Too bad the A's offense is so ****ty, or else he could've gotten a win. Oh well, at least they're winning now.

I remember when Harang came up people were saying the same thing...

Lets wait until he puts up more than 1 quality start.

It was an alright start for him. He had 3 balls on a lot of guys and had several wild pitches. I've seen better debuts (Prior, Juan Cruz)

He did pitch a great game. That 97 mph fastball he had was pretty impressive. He seems to be able to change speeds pretty well too. I don't know about big four yet, but he does have a lot of talent.

Harang was not considered to be much of a prospect by anyone, so he really cannot be compared to the kind of hype Harden is getting.

Both Harang and Erik Hijus were called up without any fanfare the last two years. Neither ESPN or anyone else made a single mention of them getting promoted.

I do agree with you that people shouldn't be climbing all over Harden's sack just yet, though. He will be a great pitcher, but everyone just has to jump all over the next big thing. Let the kid earn the praise.
