Need some advice from people who have been to a San Diego Padres game.
I know this might not fit into sports gaming, but I see alot of Padres fans on this board. I was hoping someone could tell me if it is a good idea to bring my kids to a San Diego Padres game when I vist in August. I bought 4 seats in the outfield (Sec 49 row 1). Is that a good place or should I try somthing else. I know here in Chicago if you go to a Cubs game you don't want to bring your kids in the bleachers because the fans are drunk and rude. My kids have never been to game and so I want to show them a nice time. Thanks.Tags: None -

I am a Padres season ticket holder. It's a much more laid back place to see a ball game than say Chicago. Lots of people bring their kids to Padres games. If you can go on a Sunday afternoon game, I believe those are kids days. And the kids get a special giveaway at the door, and on some Sundays kids get to run the bases on the field after the game. I don't think you will have a problem with the environment at the Murph.

I have never had a problem especially on afternoon games. I think Wed. afternoon maybe the business man's special. Should be a pretty good game to bring kids to. Where are your seats?

They do by the way have a family section of seats. I don't know where they are, but they don't serve alcohol and I think cater specifically to people bringing their families to the game.

I'm in the 1st row in rightfeild. 2 sections from the foul pole towards center. The tickets were only 40 for my whole family. Pretty cheap. Are the players pretty good about autographs if we get to the game early.Comment
