Catcher Jimmy Foxx - Started out as a catcher so i can stick him here if he played in today's day in age he would have eclipsed 800 Homers by the time his career would be done.
1st Base Lou Gehrig - Possibly the Greatest 1st baseman ever career cut short due to the awful disease.
2nd Base Roger Hornsby - Hit .400 multiple times was the first second baseman to hit for power and contact
3rd Base Albert Pujols - He started his career at third and he jus might go down as the greatest player who ever lived
Shortstop Alex Rodriguez - Pains me (alot) to put him over The captain for the starting spot but Alex was nothing short of phenomenal with the bat and especially with the glove
Left Field Ted Williams - Last player to hit .400 and one of the greatest pure hitters all time
Center Field - An in his prime Ken Griffey Jr. - The guy who really should have the HR Record right now. The definition of a 5 tool talent. Back in his hay day no one could stop Junior.
Right Field Mickey Mantle - Take away the injuries and the chronic drinking problem and you have another great 5 tool talent. mantle's time from home to first before he got that knee injury was better than Ichiro not to mention the advantage of him being a switch hitter.
DH - Babe ruth - no explanation
Starting Five
Sandy Koufax - Greatest Lefty of all time
Bob Feller - Another insanely good pitcher that put up very impressive numbers despite losing time to the war
Walter Johnson - The Big Train was the most dominate of his era
Bob Gibson - they had to lower the mound due to his dominance
Greg Maddux - Was filthy in the 90's and did not need over powering stuff to win.
Closer - Mariano Rivera - No explanation needed
