    Whats more important??

As a fan...What would you rather see if your favorite team is out of it...Them try to do the best they can with what they have or trade away any talent they have in hopes that the guys they get in return woudl pan out?

I'd like them to do what my hometown team is doing. Make lateral moves that will help out right away AND yet be even more productive down the road. The trade of Shannon Stewart for Bobby Kielty is a good example of that and the rumoured trade of Kelvim Escobar to Oakland for Ted Lilly and minor league prospect Joe Glenn is another example.

Both moves are lateral moves in that both Stewart and Escobar could be on the move and the Jays might as well get some youth that can be of use right now but also be just as, if not more productive down the road.

Well, I don't think they should just do "the best they can with what they have". I would not want my team to just sit around and do nothing, because if they are losing that bad then there is something wrong with the team, and something needs to be done about it.

Now I also don't think they should just completely trade away any talent either. They need to keep the guys they know can help the team, and the guys that aren't helping the team or aren't going to help the team anytime soon need to go.

I like to see a little bit of both. Trade away some of the talent that isn't producing. But try to bring in guys who will give it their best.
