WSB - anyone hit for the cycle

I am becoming obsessed with this ! Last night I got as close as ever with Eric Chavez going 3-4 with a 2B, 3B and HR. It was in a home game for my Indians against the Royals and I won easily - had i needed to bat in the bottom of the 9th Chavez would have been second up with a chance to get that last single !

In the same game Tim Hudson (I have traded a fair bit!) thre a complete game five hitter shutout. Of all my starter he appears the only one with th stuff and stamina to shoot for a nono.

I am playing on the hardest skill level with custom sliders set to the conventional wisdom. I love this game but I really to make some history without dropping the sliders !

Same player... Eric Chavez... I had a triple, homer and a single... then I hit another single later. That was the closest I got. And that single was one of those that looked like it might get through to the wall, but sadly it didn't.

I would have been tempted to run to second and hope for a bad throw......

I have a number of players on my Indians who I think can do it so hopefully it's just a matter of time....I got excited a few games back when Coco Crisp led off with a homer but I could never get the triple...

I have hit for the cycle once and it was with Richie Sexson. I didn't even realise it until the last bat I had to take and I hit a homerun. I did it Triple, Single, Double, Homerun. I think the Triple is the hardest part to get done though. Of all games this one was the first of the season on one of my new seasons. I have also came very close to hitting for the cycle with Endy Chavez though. I never can get the HR.

Oh, I would've had it been a blowout in either teams' favor, but it was a tight game, and it was computer thing where the ball is scorching toward the gap and the guy manages to pull it in, he was only medium depth too, I'd have been MEAT at 2nd base....lol

Now if I managed another potential triple, I'd have given Eric the stopsign at 2 just for the satisfaction of hitting for the cycle.

I came close twice with Shannon Stewart. Couldn't get that double.
