Gotta love it when the umpires are so bad that the announcers start questioning where the calls are for the other team. The Indians announcers called the umpiring tonight "pathetic and embarrassing", picking on the ump from the Red Sox/Yankees series

What is wrong with the fans in Florida? Tampa is barely getting 15k to come to a game. People down there do realize there are more sports than football...right?Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

The umpires from the White Sox v Indians series should be fired/set on fire and pee'd on.
EDIT: I'd also like to take back that whole Sizemore sucks thing...overreaction from the first two games.
Kenny Powers/Chris Perez was dominating tonight as well. Very nice to see a 1-2-3 inning from him.
One more thing and that is Carlos Santana's debut in AAA: 4-5, 2B, 2HR, 4 RBI. I cannot wait to see him behind the plate rather than that bum Marson.
Very disappointed in St Louis' performance in Cincy today, but what can you do. Holliday is smoking white hot so that is good news.Last edited by OSUFan_88; 04-09-2010, 12:54 AM.Too Old To Game Club

Ugh... My M's are looking pretty putrid so far.
If only we had a healthy rotation... Felix, Lee, Bedard, Rowland-Smith, Snell... That's pretty dang good, but when will it ever be fully healthy? Bedard pisses me off, the dude has some of the best pure stuff in the game, but he can't stay healthy and can't/won't pitch deep into games.
Our offense... Well, in a good lineup, Milton Bradley is your 7th hitter or so... In a good lineup, Griffey is a left-handed bench bat who *might* get 100 AB's on the year.
In our lineup? They hit 4th and 5th.
We need a big bat. We need a healthy rotation. Otherwise, I see a 75-win team that was way too hyped during the offseason. It doesn't matter if you have King Felix and Cliff Lee, or Ichiro and Figgins at the top of your lineup - if you don't have an RBI machine or two in your lineup, you're going to struggle.
I know it's early, but damn...Comment

They do need a big bat. What if they added someone like Berkman, if he can get healthy, or Carlos Lee?
I'd imagine Houston to be looking to cut payroll because I don't think they're going very far...One of those guys could help, but Lee has really ugly contract still left. Berkman however is fairly absorbable. If healthy and able to produce Mike Lowell could be a bat that could help, and a much better defensive option at third...Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

PLEASE, PLEASE somebody tell me they are watching the Tigers-Indians game.
I'm watching on Gameday and Rick Porcello just threw the nastiest pitch I've ever seen them record.
96 MPH fastball that backs up like a boom-a-rang... this has to be some sort of mistake, right? Keep in mind, Porcello is a right hander, so unless he has the fastest screwball known to man... I don't know what explains the pitch he just threw.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Yep. That graph exaggerated it a bit...but it had a lot of movement.Comment
