After the A's and Rays get new stadiums, I doubt we see any new ballparks for at least 20 years. The only other team that could even make a case for a new one in that time period would be the Blue Jays.

The Red Sox are still trying to get a new Fenway Park built. Frank McCourt tried to get a publicly funded stadium built for the Dodgers but that was a big no, and if a new Dodger Stadium is built it won't be with the McCourts as the owners. But after that just about every team will have gotten a new stadium since the Sky Dome opened in 1989.

Yep, we'll probably see another cycle in the starting around 2020. It'll be interesting what style the parks trend to since these recent stadiums could be termed as the irregular ballpark era.

Football? Hasn't every team been given a new stadium except for a couple (Pack, Vikings, Jags)? Though I wouldn't put it past the NFL to extort cities to build them new stadiums again...

There is a good chance that the Jaguars are headed to LA in a couple of years since they are next to dead in Jacksonville. You are right though, i wouldn't be surprised if the NFL did that either.

The Pack finished a major renovation of their stadium several years back. I have there before and after many times, and it's basically a new stadium, so they don't count.

Im looking forward to the marlins getting a new ballpark next year so that atleast there are no rain delays when i watch them on tv, although a lot of family I have in South Florida are upset with it being moved into the bad neighborhoods of Miami.

I know the Superdome is getting a few renovations this summer and next summer before the 2013 Super Bowl
