    Silly question

I know this is a bit of a silly question, but I haven't been following baseball as much as I used to, and I'm curious about how the brackets are setup for the playoffs. Are they setup by record, or Best div. leader takes on wildcard, or what?

    Re: Silly question

I believe the team with the best record takes on the wilcard team and the other two divsion winners play one another.

Except if the best record, and the wildcard are in the same division. Then the best record plays the worst non wildcard record, and the other 2 teams play.
