The Pirates must MUST draft either Jameson Taillon or Karsten Whitson , the pirates do not have a guy that misses bats in their minors. Victor Black maybe but either Jameson or Karsten have big time stuff, the risk is being high school arms and the Buccos do not have a great track record with high school arms. I dont want to hear about Brad Lincoln anymore the guy is 25 and still pitching medicore in AAA. To me Rudy Owens deserves the shot before Brad. The Pirates rotation needs a makeover, Paul and Zach need to go and rebuild this rotation like you have rebuilt the lineup. Start with Ross and go from there. To me a future pitching staff of Ross, Morton, Bryan Morris, Rudy Owens and Tailon is a staff that could have a great upside and have Black be your future closer.

You're saying Charlie Morton should be in the rotation over Duke? The guy is 1-5 with a 10.30 ERA which was up near 16.00 before his last start. They really do need some better pitchers though and not the 1 year wonders they keep getting.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

They have somce decent pitchers more in their low minors but thats why they need a pitcher that will move up the system quickly. The one thing they dont have is a guy in their system with "ace" potentialComment
