    Joe Torre out?

Friends of Joe Torre indicate to Rosenthal that the Dodgers' skipper may not want to return next year if the organization is still handcuffed financially by Frank McCourt's divorce. Rosenthal suggests that the Mets, Cubs, or Braves might end up being options for Torre.
Ken Rosenthal's latest Full Count video is up at FOX Sports. Let's check out the highlights of this week's clip.... …

as much as I hate Torre because he was a Yankee, i'm fine with him as manager

You're a Braves fan right? (I think you are)

Well anyways Torre managed there eons ago so i'm sure it'd be a nice circular way to end his managerial career if he went back to the ATL.

Torre will manage the Mets next season. No doubt about it.

The Royals could use a manager.

yea, and I know. 82-83 (IIRC), and took them to their first playoff apperence in a while in 82.

There's no secret that Torre will be out at the end of the year, don't matter how the season goes.

Plus I think Hillman is in his last year of his contract. Problem is we probably cant afford him, and he is a manager for crying out loud.

I hope he doesn't end up with the Braves. Although I like him as a manager and respect his whole career, I'd rather the Braves go after a younger manager not someone who is, believe it or not, OLDER THAN BOBBY COX!

He is the Phil Jackson of baseball, only goes where he can have a great team.
Dodgers running into issues with there owners and are not spending like you wants.
Time to get out and go to a team that can win right now.

                      Holy smokes!

I didn't know he was older then Bobby Cox. Well, scratch that then as I think the Braves would do better with a younger guy.

I wonder if the Braves would attempt to snag Randy Ready from us.

thats the thing though, who are the young up and comers? Baseball seems to be recycling guys and doesn't seem to bring in new people as quickly as Football does. Are there even some people ready to step up?

Atlanta will probably promote from in house....my guess is Eddie Perez at this point, but who knows.

Good point and often the guys that are promoted have very short shelf life due to teams expecting so much out of them.
