come on St.Louis...don't let this game get away.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Hanson and Bills pitch great, Bills comes out of the game, Braves put up a 7 run 7th, still going with one out only.

It's funny, but at this point Glaus has to be in the MVP discussion. Leads the league in RBI and his turn around has really kick started this offense.

Glaus is 29th in the NL in OPS, playing the easiest position on the field. I don't think he belongs in any MVP discussions, imnsho.

Hopefully Huddy can go deep and give our pen some rest.

                  Let's win the series, c'mon!

Could the All Star voting be anymore of a joke? Miguel Cabrera is the leading candidate for AL MVP at this point, but yet is only third in votes at his own position. Teixeira isn't even hitting .220, but is leading AL 1st basemen.

Why do the regionals play their game at the same time the Braves do?

Obviously it's early and there are other deserving players. Glaus' OPS is so low because of his poor first month. If he keeps up what he's doing now, however, I bet he's near the top by the end of the year. If Atlanta keeps winning, he will have been a big part of it.

At this point, our MVP has been Heyward (I shudder to think where we'd be if they had left him at AAA to start the year).

Jim Tracy is leaving Ubaldo out there too long now. After 7, he had about 105 pitches and should've been taken out. Starts off the 8th with a double to Kelly Johnson, homerun to Conor Jackson, up to 115 pitches, and STILL in the game, then walks Adam LaRoche before being taken out.
Hopefully the bullpen can preserve the lead for him so he can earn his 11th win. Too bad his ERA skyrocketed to 0.93 after that 2 run homerun.

Cabrera has been awesome.....but he's still only been the 2nd best first baseman in the AL Central this year.
