Streak ends at 9. Santana actually made contact...and the Indians made him work.

Strasburg has incredible stuff though. I'll be stunned if the Indians actually get a hit.

And Cronk turns one of those fastballs around....

Anyone know why this game is NOT on TBS in my area??

Weird, I'm in NY, not in any of the black out areas, yet TBS is airing Headline news on my TBS here.

The guide even says Washington at Cleveland.

Basically, if you make contact on Strasburg's fastball, it's going a long way.

Unfortunately, you just cannot hit it about 80% of the time.

Well if he gives up 20% of the time HR, he will not be so dangerous. Also, this is majors they are going to hit him and hit him hard sometimes; the key is he is not wild. That is what is going to make him very good.

I am so impressed that Strasburg is 10 innings in and hasn't issued a walk. On another note, Adam Dunn continues to be one of the most underrated players in baseball.

And Santana draws the first walk...he still has a 19:1 K/BB ratio. Not too shabby.

Ooopps...just cut that ratio in half.

Sure wish the Braves would have gotten Hinske home...even with that, 4-0 I'll take.

The kid was a little wild today. Lets see what the bull pen can do.

The last few innings the spot where he lands on his delivery was really messed up and it definitely got in his head (not to mention he was sliding on his release). Still a real solid start, though. Can't complain about 5 IP, 1 ER.

I just got home from the Nats/Indians game (left during the 7th inning stretch) and Strasburg was having all kinds of problems with the way the mound was today. If it weren't for that, I don't think he would have walked more than 1-2 guys. Also, the home plate umpire was being very stingy with the lower part of the strike zone against both teams today. All in all, it was great seeing Strasburg pitch (in what will more than likely be his 2nd big league win) and I took a ton of pics/video that I will share later.
