What has happened to Yunel Escobar's power? We are almost half way home and he doesn't have a homer...

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

question answers itself. Escy's impossible to read IMO. I can't tell if he's ever up or down

Difference between them though. If the Rockies are in contention or in the playoffs vs 21.5 games out, a case can be made.

While that is a rude welcome to Detroit for the D-Train, lol. Two run jack for Magglio Ordonez.

It is great to see Magglio back to more of his old self this year and get some of his power back. Deserves to be an All-Star.

Garza is getting pounded... Once again my fantasy team got screwed over. I was making my way up the ERA category with Cain and Strasburg pitching great as of late. Now I'm back down at the bottom.

                      Strasburg's first three starts: 19 1/3 IP, 10 H, 4 ER, 5 BB, 32 Ks. 2-0 record, 1.86 ERA.

I thought the ROY race was pretty much Heyward/Leake but if Strasburg puts up numbers like this all year he could win it, too. He threw 24 changeups tonight (22 total in first 2 starts), and 6 of his 10 K's were on changes. He's developing that pitch to add on to his already sick curveball/slider and fastball.

Great outing for Strasburg again tonight:

                        7 IP - 1 ER - 4 H - 10 K - 0 BB

Just too bad his offense couldn't give him any support. He got yanked with the game tied 1-1 heading into the top of the 8th. At least he won't have to suffer a loss after pitching a gem like that.

And the 1 run against him tonight was because of an infield hit by Juan Pierre and a bloop double. After that he retired 15 in a row with 9 k before giving up a few more hits. The guy is filthy.
