Calvin Johnson at SS?
Firstly, I watch baseball on and off (I'm a football guy), but a certain football game has me looking a other sports. I've alway liked baseball, just never got behind it. I'm watching more and picked up MLB2K10. Great game, wish I could have got the Show, thou. Anyways, I way thinking about any physical freaks that could have played or are playing baseball now and I read the Calvin Johnson was wanted at shortstop in the MLB. He could have gone straight out of high school, I believe. Could anybody guess how he would have done? He's not to productive with his Detroit situation and he could really display how monstrous he is at SS, not to mention he would make a bundle of money. Any of players that were freaks other than Primetime and Bo? I heard Jose Reyes was a blur on the field.Tags: None -
Re: Calvin Johnson at SS?
I think Calvin would never have been a SS. I bet he would've been an OF in baseball though, no idea how his arm is.
Realistically, out of high school, he probably would've had 2 years in the minors before getting into the big leagues, and thats really the earliest looking scenario.
Brian Jordan was actually a defensive back for the Falcons before going to baseball full time.
I know Eric Davis was a baseball-football stud and he chose baseball because it was more challenging.7 National Championships

Word. Tall, athletic guys with blazing speed don't usually play infield in the MLBComment
