i'm a big mets fan, and i am really happy to see piazza back, but i really like jason phillips and vance wilson. now that piazza's back, who will get more playing time between the two? i think phillips definately should. he's been putting up some awesome numbers as a rookie and could end up having the highest average among N.L. rookies, while vance is in a big slump.

A few dingers should quiet the first base stuff for a little bit. I really wouldn't mind seeing the Mets go with a Piazza/Phillips shuttle between 1st and C next season with Wilson as the backup to give them the occasionall rest. It wouldn't leave Wilson a lot of PT though, they may end up dealing him. I just think it sucks how many people have turned on Piazza as if it was his fault they surrounded him with garbage. Though I do wanna see him move to 1st so he can stay a Met and keep his bat healthy I still think with the right supporting cast a Team can win it all with piazza behind the plate, noodle arm and all.

Oh and Mets fans, support Cliff Floyd. This guy is a gamer.
