Easily 5 feet above the railing. Amazing catch.

Bring him over to the US! He would have snagged A-rod's 600th and spared us the embarrassment of celebrating a cheater.

That is awesome. I wonder what the announcers were saying? I would have expected them to flip out a bit more.

They said ..."Take that Gary Matthews....your catch was weak!".

Awesome catch. If I tried that I'd be on the other side of that fence with a broken neck(who am I kidding....I couldn't jump high enough for that green wall.)

What losing streak getting to you? That second place spot is slipping.

The catch was just amazing, best catch in baseball period. Reminds me of that comercial with that ball girl.

WOW, that is some serious timing. I mean the wall gives him a good shot at getting up like that the way it is made, but to time his leap and make the catch wow!

I saw some catch on ESPN's First Take this morning [Friday Aug. 20] of a Home run or Foul caught by a fan who was holding a tray of food. Not only was it a great catch, but he saves the tray from spilling over and walks off like it was nothing. I can't find it online anywhere though. [Yes, I went to ESPN and the First Take web sites and searched a lot as well.] Did anyone else see this? Anyone know what I am talking about?

Fantastic catch! I think Matthews' defensive play was still more overly impressive though.
