The Phillies are the luckiest team. They just had another game given to them. Chalk that one up to the Dodgers. **** you LA.

        lol Broxton.

I turned it off after he walked the bases loaded, but I'm just going to assume his mediocre fastball was hammered in the gap for a double, everyone scored, and then the runner on 2nd scored on a game winning single.

        Did something like that happen?

Substitute mediocre fastball with hanging breaking ball and take out the game winning single.

Phillies game was amazing! I don't think Broxton ever wants to see the Phillies again. I thought for the Phillies to have a chance to win when they were down 9-2, they had to score enough runs to prevent the bottom of the lineup from leading off in the 9th.

This is just hilarious? Phillies and "luckiest" in the same sentence? A franchise w/ 10,000+ franchise losses deserves some breaks now and again, and last night wasn't "luck" we've had Broxton's number for a while. See: Matt Stairs, 2008 NLCS, 8th inning HR.

So Broxton hitting the first batter, walking the next two, and having a routine double play ball go through the 3rd baseman's legs wasn't luck, but "having his number"? Sure thing.

So true. I think there might have been a whole month without one single post from a Philly fan.

Oh well JJ the amazing run lasted for awhile atleast. can't wait to see Mike Stanton next year play next year for a full season. In 54 games he has 12 HR 15 Doubles 1 Triple which is pretty comparable to a lot of rookies who have been in the majors all season.

Tim Hudson is sick. He gets one run on the Conrad blast and that's all he needed. Braves win 1-0.

P.S. Thanks Mutts for handling the Phillies.

When all the "analysts" out there were predicting the Braves' demise with the loss of Chipper, I kept thinking "They must not be watching the Braves this year because we have Brooks ****ING Conrad!" I think we'll be just fine!
