Ya, I cant stand watching Pedro pitch anymore. He gets everyone real uptight when he's on the mound, thats why we can never back him up.

Re: The Red Sox make me sick
I'm just bumping this because its still the same crap. We cant find ways to get people home when the opportunity arises. The yanks do it, the a's have been doing, the sox just cant.
The dynasty will return

Re: The Red Sox make me sick
As pissed as I am right now at the A's for blowing yet another chance to put a team away, I gotta give this one to you Sox fans.
Oakland should have won this game 2-0, but as they say, that is why they play the games. Your guys' pitching was nails tonight, and deserved to win. As happy as I would have been if the A's had won, the Sox and their fans deserved to at least get one win. They showed a lot of heart and scrappiness (if that is a word) and earned my respect.
One funny thing I noticed about the play at the plate with Eric Byrnes that was never mentioned :
After the ball got away from Varitek and Byrnes shoved him, did anyone else notice that when Varitek tagged him, the ball was not in his glove? I kept waiting for Morgan or Miller to say something about it, but it never came.
That play, and the other ones with the interference by Chavez and the non call with Tejada were the wackiest plays I have ever seen in a postseason game.
The only other thing I am gonna say is that the A's had better come out of the gate strong tomorrow and put up some runs early. They need to get to Burkett early and take the crowd out of it and regain some of the momentum. Right now, it is all with Boston.
