If the Reds win, and the Cardinals lose, do we lose two games in the number?

I thought I understood the magic number thing, but I think I still may not! lol

The magic number is any combination of wins by the leading team and losses by the team behind them. So, the magic number goes down 1 for every win the Reds have AND down 1 for every loss the Cardinals have. Comprende?

Yes, every Reds win and every Cards loss will drop it by 1. When the Twins beat the White Sox last night it immediately dropped by 2.

Post Sparky anyway. I say Joe Oliver for #9. He's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Unless you want to use newly acquired Willie Bloomquist.

Must be nice to be able to participate in this knowing you're far from jinxing your team. That makes me very sad.
