ehh.. id have to disagree with you.. i mean.. if i had a stud 1b that could also play corner outfeild and 3rd.. i would want him over say a guy who could only play 3rd but was really good.. that way.. if i got an oppurtunity to get a player of the same posistion i could always move that player to another posistion..

    anyways to the original question.
    if they were all 21.

    1-arod/pujols/vlad

they are all superstars. i cant choose just one.

Aren't you a Padres fan? Except for Mark Kotsay and Mark Loretta isn't every player on the squad questionable at their respective positions? Hmmn?

            Stop bagging on Pujols... heh.

But yeah, didn't Barry Bonds say something about Pujols learning and sticking to a ONE position before becoming a "legend?"

Re: Arod vs. Albert vs. Vlad: Who would you rather have??

That's out of context... he was saying it in a good sort of way, that he didn't even have a set position and had to learn all these other positions while still producing at the plate.

Of course, if you do want to take issue with something Bonds said, he did point out that Pujols still has a long way to go before he can be considered a "legend." Which is true -- if he were to break his leg and go the way of Jermaine Dye, then I doubt anyone would think HoF for him, but, still, I winced when I read it.

I'll go with AROD. No doubt in my mind, he's the best player to start out the franchise with. You won't find many shortstops like him, as a matter of fact, he's the only one.
I think players' like Vlad and Pujols aren't as rare as a player like Arod. The best in Bigs right now.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
